Crowds of supporters welcomed Republican Congressman Paul Ryan of Wisconsin to Lexington Wednesday.
Ryan arrived a day before the Vice Presidential Debate at Centre College in Danville.
42-year-old Ryan has been called the "Conservative Party's foremost thinker."
But as analysts say he's never had a debate like the one set for Thursday as he goes up against Vice President Joe Biden.
Supporters say he needs to do is keep the momentum going after Republicans celebrated a successful Presidential Debate last week.
Biden and Ryan are set to debate at Centre College Thursday at 9:00pm eastern.
