Crews treated roadways Thursday and early Friday morning in anticipation of the upcoming winter weather conditions.
One crew headed out onto Lexington streets at 3:00 a.m. Friday.
Crews in surrounding areas were planning similar schedules for their salt truck drivers.
Kentucky State Police in Frankfort and Richmond said as of Friday morning, they hadn't received any reports of slick road conditions.
