A fire heavily damaged a home located on a horse farm in Scott County Wednesday morning.
The fire closed off part of Ironworks Road.
When firefighters arrived at the Heatherland Farm at 4043 Ironworks Road in Georgetown just after 6 a.m., they said there was heavy smoke and flames coming from the main house.
They said the house was unoccupied at time of fire.
