The injury crash between a pickup and a car closed down I-64 in Clark County between mile point 92 and mile point 94.
I-64 is now back open in that area.
The crash happened around 3 p.m. Tuesday. Police say a man pulled his pickup onto the interstate going the wrong way and crashed into the car.
The pickup truck driver was flown to UK Medical Center in critical condition.
Another woman has non life-threatening injuries.
