The boil water advisory that had been in effect for the City of Crab Orchard was lifted Friday, November 2, 2012.

The advisory had been put into effect after a water line break.

The City's Water Department said all water sample testing had come back clean of contaminates and that the water was safe to use again for drinking and cooking without having to boil it.
