According to the Laurel County Sheriff, a husband and wife worked together, along with their young daughter, to steal merchandise from a Corbin Walmart.

Sheriff John Root said late Thursday afternoon, Walmart's loss prevention team had caught two people trying to take items from the store that they hadn't paid for.

Deputies said the couple's daughter, a minor, was being used as a lookout.

James Childress, 36, and Margaret Childress, 33, were both charged with shoplifting and taken to the Laurel County Detention Center.
