A man found in a car Saturday afternoon died from a heroin overdose according to the Fayette County Coroner.

Police say around 3:30 they were called to the Save A Lot in Eastland Shopping Center where they found an unresponsive man in a car.

The coroner declared him officially dead and said the body was so decomposed he couldn't even guess his age, but said the body had been in the car for at least a day.

Police say they don't think anyone else was involved in the death.
