The Fayette County Coroner reports James Wallace died Wednesday at UK hospital. Police say Wallace was assaulted by Curtis Flora on New Years Eve. Police say Wallace and Flora were in a truck when they got into an argument, and Flora punched Wallace several times.

Police say Flora is accused of first-degree-assault.

The coroner says an official cause of death will be released after an autopsy.
