Due to the extreme heat, the city of Lexington is keeping their cooling centers open on Thursday.
The Dunbar community center on 545 North Upper Street will be open until 8 p.m.
The center asks that if you go to please take pillows, blankets, and bottled water.
All city pools will also be half off. Admission is $1.50 for anyone under 15, and $2.00 for anyone over 16.
