Cooler and Less Humid Monday

Cooler and Less Humid Monday

Cooler and drier air will work into the region Monday, making for a dry and comfortable start to the work week.
Midnight Update: Almost all rain has now dissipated or has pushed into far eastern Kentucky. All rain should end in the next hour in the region.

Temperatures are much more even since the wide temperatures differences we saw this afternoon in areas that had rain compared to areas that stayed dry. Most cities are now in the mid 60s with Lexington right at 65°.

Central Kentucky is seeing a few isolated sprinkles this evening with heavier rain in southern and eastern Kentucky. The rain will push east out of Kentucky by morning. Less humid and slightly cooler air will start to build in overnight into Monday morning. By the morning commute, temperatures will drop into the upper 50s.

Monday will be slightly cooler and dry for most areas, although southern and eastern Kentucky could see a shower or two during the day. Afternoon highs will be in the mid 70s with gradually clearing skies.

Tuesday will start on the cool side with morning lows in the low 50s. Everyone will stay dry in the afternoon with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s.
