Midnight Update: More clouds have built into the region and will continue to fill in as we head towards Sunday morning. The rain and snow is still well to our north and will stay there until Sunday evening.
Most temperatures now range between the low 40s and low 50s, with Lexington at 49°.
Forecast: More clouds will build into the region tonight as temperatures drop into the upper 30s by Sunday morning.
A cold front will then push through Kentucky Sunday, helping to hold back temperatures in the afternoon. Highs in central Kentucky will be in the low 50s, but areas further south could climb closer to 60. Skies will stay mostly cloudy during the day. Light rain will be possible starting late Sunday afternoon, which could mix with snow at times.
We'll dry out by Monday morning, but it will be colder. Temperatures will start the day in the low 20s and only rebound into the upper 30s in the afternoon.
A second blast of cold air will arrive in the middle of the week and could bring snow Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
