After another unseasonably cold start, temperatures will recover into the lower 60s this afternoon.  Winds will remain active, blowing from the west at 10 to 15 mph with higher gusts.  Most places will stay dry today, but some isolated showers and thunderstorms will cross the western part of the Bluegrass Region and the Lake Cumberland area late in the day as a disturbance arrives from Illinois and Indiana.  Tonight will be chilly but not quite as cold as this past night, with lows in the lower 40s.  Additional, isolated showers may occur, especially near and south of I-64.  A front will stall across Kentucky from midweek into the weekend, so the forecast will remain very unsettled.  Additional showers and thunderstorms will occur each day, Wednesday through Sunday, but they will be scattered.  Some of Wednesday afternoon / evening's thunderstorms could become severe with wind and hail.  Highs will be in the 60s and lower 70s through the next seven days.  Drier weather will return to central Kentucky on Monday as the front finally exits to the southeast.
