Months after his murder, many are still mourning the death of fallen Bardstown Police Officer Jason Ellis including his K9 partner, Figo.

Saturday, many people who didn't even know Ellis joined the police department, Fraternal Order of Police, and The Bluegrass Barkery to raise money to help with Figo's care.

Officer Ellis' wife and children adopted the dog after he retired from the force.

All of the money from today's activities, which included contests, a silent auction, and a dog walk, will go directly to that fund.

You can find more information about Figo here.
