God's Pantry Food Bank is $45,000 richer thanks to a grant from Walmart and votes from the community.

The Fighting Hunger Together campaign, a national hunger initiative, gave away $3 million in grants to organizations across the country.

God's Pantry got more than 443,000 votes in the Facebook-based competition last month securing the grant to help local families in need.
