Comfort Inn Robbed In Lexington

Lexington Police said a man robbed a Comfort Inn on Athens-Boonesboro Road around 7:30 p.m.

According to officers, the man had stayed at this Comfort Inn before under a couple different names.

Police said the robber sat in the lobby for about 20 minutes before bringing a note to the clerk. The note said that he was armed and demanded money.

After getting the money, officers the robber ran away.

They’re searching for a man with a medium build and was last seen wearing a stripped shirt and baggy shorts or jeans.
