Cold, But Dry Thursday

Cold, But Dry Thursday

Our mid-week rain has cleared the area. Now we are left with cold air and are looking ahead to the next storm system headed for the Bluegrass.
Update: Temperatures haven't budged much since this morning. Lexington is still reporting a temperature of 28° at the noon hour. Across the Bluegrass, we are seeing readings in the low 30s at best. Mostly cloudy skies will continue to keep these readings down with increases of only a couple degrees expected the rest of the day.

Chief Meteorologist Jennifer Schack will update you on the coming rain and snow at 5, 6, and 11 on ABC 36 tonight.

We are starting your Thursday much more calm than 24 hours earlier. Live Vipir HD isn't picking up any rain or snow this morning.

We will stay dry through the afternoon with mostly cloudy skies. Lexington will only climb up to the freezing point of 32° late in the day.

Overnight into Friday morning, temperatures will drop back into the mid 20s making for a very cold morning. By Friday afternoon, we will see a small amount of sunshine, helping us warm into the low 40s.
