Coin Toss Decides Tie Election In Whitesburg

A tie election in Whitesburg has ended with a coin toss.

Tom Sexton and Matthew Butler each received 282 votes in a race for City Council.

The County Clerk supervised the coin toss.

Sexton called tails and won.
