Temporary closures are affecting US Highway 25 in Scott County at mile markers 18 and 25.

Work being performed at mile marker 18 will shut down that section of the roadway completely, while mile point 25 will have one lane open.

The closures will last from Wednesday, May 7 through Friday, May 16, and will last from 7am until 6pm.

No work will take place over the weekend.

Drivers can take Exit 136 (Sadieville) and Exit 144 (Corinth) from I-75 as an alternate route.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said the closings are needed to complete slide repair work in the area.
