A company is leaving Winchester and Mount Sterling, and taking 200 jobs with it.

The Regal Beloit Corporation announced it would close facilities in both towns.

The company based out of Beloit, Wisconsin makes electric motors and parts.

Regal said that the decision was not a reflection on the company's employees.

But it said the change will be more efficient and help Regal remain globally competitive.

The plans also included consolidating operations in other places.

Regal said it would provide benefits packages for eligible workers.
