Clark County was approved for $575,000 in resurfacing funds from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to repair several sections of roads that were damaged by harsh weather last winter.

“Last winter’s inclement weather took its toll on roads across the state,” said state Sen. R.J. Palmer II, of Winchester. “With so many highways in need of repair, I am glad to see these resurfacing projects moving forward to improve driving conditions in Clark County. I will continue to work to bring money to my district for much needed infrastructure upgrades and hope more funds become available in the near future.”

“Clark County roads, like those in many other counties, suffered greatly this winter,” said Clark County Judge-Executive Henry Branham. “I would like to thank Governor Beshear and Senator R.J. Palmer for recognizing this additional need and working hard to secure the funding we need to provide good roads for our citizens.”
