City Engineers Re-Timing Lights on Man O War Blvd.

Lexington traffic officials say drivers will save minutes on their average drives from Tates Creek to Sir Barton Way.
If you have to drive down Man O' War Blvd. consistently you know that sooner or later you'll hit at least a few red lights.

City engineers are trying to change that, making sure people are not stopping at every red light on their drives.

The city's traffic division says they're working on re-timing the traffic lights from Tates Creek Rd. to Sir Barton way, in an effort to make sure more people are hitting more green lights consistently.

Officials say drivers may notice slightly longer delays at lights along the road for the next week and a half as they try to get the timing just right.

The city says recently reconfigured the lights on Richmond Road, and say drivers are now saving an average of eight to ten minutes on their drives to and from downtown.
