Churches and Volunteers Bring Thanksgiving to Richmond

Local churches and volunteers prepare hundreds of meals for those with no where to go for Thanksgiving.
Churches and volunteers across Madison County served up Thanksgiving meals to hundreds of families across the county.

St. Paul AME and Rosedale Baptist Church each offered free thanksgiving meals to anyone who showed up at their churches.

The local Salvation Army also offered a free meal Thursday afternoon.

The group Home Meals Delivery brought the holiday to more than 700 families in Richmond as well.

Volunteers throughout the community prepared more than 750 turkey dinners which were delivered by volunteer families from across the county.

Each place says that they'll continue this Thanksgiving tradition next year.
