One Lexington church got a message of hope written on their front sidewalk.
It says: “We are with you praying. May God bless Syria with peace.”
Saint Andrews Orthodox Church’s congregation has families who have been involved in the war and others who have come to the church because of the war in Syria.
Father Tom Galloway noticed the message written in chalk Sunday morning but thought it was graffiti. It wasn’t until he took a second look, he realized the message.
Galloway doesn’t know who left the message but thanks whoever is prayer for their church and for peace.
