A Madison County jury found Christina Marcum guilty Thursday of complicity to commit murder.

She was also convicted of tampering with physical evidence and hindering prosecution in the 2011 death of Angela Singleton.

Angela was married to Marcum's ex-boyfriend, Jason Singleton.

Police accused Marcum of strangling Angela to death.

Jason Singleton is already in prison for his role in the murder.

He admitted to dismembering Angela's body and leaving her remains in a field.

But Singleton claimed it was Marcum who strangled Angela to death.
