Lexington Police are warning parents after they say a man tried to lure two children into his truck.

The girls told officers they were at a playground behind Mistlake Shopping Center Saturday night when a man in a red pickup asked them to get in.

They say the driver followed them as they ran to a nearby store, then drove off.

Police say this is the third report of a stranger trying to lure kids in three weeks.

In two of the incidents, children gave similar descriptions of a man in a red truck.
