Chester Grundy Laid Off At U.K. After Three Decades

The Lexington Herald-Leader reported Monday that Chester Grundy had been laid off at the University of Kentucky.

Grundy is the Director of the Martin Luther King Cultural Center at U.K.

The newspaper reported that the Center would remain open.

As a student at the University of Kentucky, Grundy founded the Black Student Union.

Grundy has been with the school for more than 30-years.
