Mega Millions fans: your game is changing.

The Kentucky Lottery says starting October 22nd, the minimum Mega Millions jackpot will grow from the current $12 million to $15 million. The prizes will grow by at least five million dollars after each drawing without a winner.

The game itself will change too. It will still consist of five white balls and one Mega Ball. The number of white balls will increase to 75. The number of Mega Balls will go down to 15.

The lottery's CEO, Arch Gleason, expects an increase in the number of players and a boost in jackpot sizes.
