Centre College Students Help With Debate Prep

3 Students helped in a dress rehearsal
On the eve of the debate, the production crew is working around the clock to make sure the debate's broadcast goes smoothly.

Three Centre College students are helping.  One is playing the role of moderator, and two are portraying the candidates.  The students practiced walking on stage at least 20 times so the crew could perfect the lighting and camera angles.  The student filling in for Paul Ryan had no idea he would be so involved.

"Being on stage where two of the most powerful men in the country will be tomorrow is such an exciting experience that I will never ever have again in my life, so it was just incredibly exciting," said Tommy Munoz, a Centre College Student.

Munoz says he has no idea why he was chosen, but he guesses it's because he sort of looks like Ryan.
