Cats Stay No. 1 in AP Poll

The UK Wildcats remain number one in the Associated Press men's basketball poll, earning 47 of 65 first-place votes.

The Wildcats defeated St. John's and North Carolina since becoming number one last week. The Cats defeated the Tar Heels 73-72 on Saturday in a matchup of two of basketball's most historic programs.

The Wildcats are 8-0 on the season. Ohio State received the other 18 votes in this week's poll. The Wildcats play Indiana on Saturday.
