The Cats showed a lot of toughness coming back to beat Missouri 90-83 Saturday in overtime.  Mizzou's Head Coach Frank Haith called UK tough.

The Cats have not been frequently called aggressive and physical this season.  Then again, it's not too often they come back from double-digits, give away the lead, and then pull out an overtime win.

It's only happened once, Saturday versus Missouri.  Cal says he knew his players had it in them all along.

"They're starting to feel empowered, and if they're empowered they're going to be better, and that's what you're starting to see," said UK Head Coach John Calipari.

"I think we're getting there.  I think we still, we still got some learning to do with the few games we have left, and I feel like everybody's really buying in.  Everybody's accepting the coaching, and I think we're finally trying to take that step," said Julius Mays.

"I loved how Archie started the second half, and got us going.  Willie Cauley, Oriakhi's really good, and he's really physical, and we did a good job.  He didn't score on Willie.  He scored if Willie had to help," said Cal.
