Casey County Circuit Judge Judy Vance approved a last-minute motion made Tuesday morning to move David Salyers' murder trial to Green County, right before jury members were to be selected.

Shawna Virgin Kincer, special prosecutor for the Attorney General's office, made the motion. Vance granted the motion when Salyers' attorney, Jude Hagan, did not object.

A trail date has not yet been set.

Salyers, 57, is accused of conspiring to murder Gleason Pyles, who was shot and killed in September 2012.

Prosecutors said Saylers wanted Pyles dead because Pyles owed him money, and had quit the Iron Horsemen Motorcycle Club in a disrespectful manner.

Police said Bobby Rigdon was the gunman and shot Pyles three times. His trial is set for September.
