Family and friends held a vigil tonight for a 5-year-old boy killed in a crash in Woodford County Sunday night.

Family and friends held a vigil tonight for a 5-year-old boy killed in a crash in Woodford County Sunday night.

It happened on US 60 in Versailles just before 10 p.m. Police said the boy, Blake Cohorn, was sitting in the front seat when another car, traveling the wrong way on the road, hit the Cohorn’s car.

The coroner pronounced Blake dead on the scene. Seven others in the crash were sent to the hospital.

Neighbors released balloons and held lit candles during a moment of silence Wednesday night.

“He’s his own special little person,” Michael Cohorn, Blake’s Uncle, said.

A fund has been set up at Fifth Third Bank to help the family pay for Blake’s funeral.

To donate, go to the bank and ask to donate to the Blake Cohorn Trust.
