Anthony Davis turned his ankle during his first NBA workout with the Hornets.

His dreams of playing for Team USA were gone.

Many thought, including USA Basketball brass, Davis wouldn't have made the team whether or not his ankle had been injured.

He didn't make the original cut.

But then Blake Griffin pulled out after a sprained knee he suffered back in the NBA playoffs flared up.

Davis was selected to replace the Clipper.

But beyond playing in a dream for another Dream Team, just how big of an opportunity does Davis have with Team USA?

Coach Cal thinks the time with the top talent in the NBA will expedite his former player's career by two years.
