The roughly 6'10", 225 pound big man from New Jersey is in Lexington training with the Dominican National Team for this year's Olympics.

Towns is the top prospect in the class of 2015 and the exposure he's getting to the UK program and Coach Cal could give the Cats an edge in the recruiting process.

All parties involved, including Towns' father, want to make sure that everyone knows the reason Karl is on the team.  Not because of his potential as a college basketball star, but for his ability and potential to help the Dominicans reach the Olympics for the first time in history.
