California Chrome has made his way to New York.

Just like at Churchill and Pimlico, the Belmont is no least not at the beginning anyway.

Backed off a trailer just like every other stop, California Chrome is ready for the final leg of the Triple Crown.

A long ride to get here and now the longest race of the three still remains.

A full 1 1/2 miles.

But did any of the horse's connections really think it'd come down to this?

Just the final leg of the Triple Crown separating Chrome from the biggest achievement in horse racing history in the last 36 years.

Hear from assistant trainer Alan Sherman on that and more, in the video.
