Cal Says Cats Got Cocky Before Arkansas

It seemed like the Cats turned a corner, but then came a trip to Fayetteville, AR. 

The hogs punched the 'Cats in the mouth with pressure defense.  A close game at half-time turned into a run-away win for Arkansas. 

UK committed 18 turnovers and got outrebounded by the Hogs. 

After winning without Noel, Coach Cal says his players started to smell themselves.

"Embrace success and this is what happens.  Especially when you think the other team's going to play like it's an AAU game.  Like they're just not going to play hard.  You think, why are playing so hard?  Why are you up all over me?  Because they want to win, they have a winning, a desire to win.  They have that will to win, and they're fighting and they're battling and they'll play to the end of the shot-clock. 

We didn't have it today.  Whatever the reason, we'll figure it out and we'll go back and we gotta go to Georgia.  Georgia goes and beats Tennessee today, wow," said John Calipari, UK's Head Basketball Coach.
