The basketball Cats started slow last night against Michigan State.

Like really slow...and found themselves down 10-0 in a hurry.

Down 12 at the half, Cal told his team in the locker room it should've been more.

Roughly 55 percent from the free throw line for the game didn't help in the 78-74 loss.  Neither did 17 turnovers.  And the inability to get the Spartans to turn over the ball wasn't the plan either.

All-in-all, what was Cal's take on the game, especially the first half play?

Hear from Coach in the video.
