For the basketball Cats, this season has been an adventure.

A roller coaster ride of emotions for Coach Cal, his players, the media...and of course Solid Blue fans.

And it's far from over.  There's still four home games left and four big trips on the road before the start of the SEC Tournament.

Back against South Carolina on Tuesday night, the Gamecocks took their only lead of the game in the first half 18-17 before Kentucky called a timeout.

Out of that huddle, Coach Cal's Cats went on an 11-0 run to take a 28-18 advantage.

So what happened in the huddle and does Cal remember what he said to spark his guys?

"No."  That's pretty direct from Cal.  Who elaborated by saying he's pulling back the intensity levels and yelling the rest of the season.  Being mean or intense comes off as being a jerk sometimes according to Cal.

Which got me thinking of some of the instances Cal could be referring to.

One that really stuck out in my mind was from his coaching days at UMass.

A postgame press conference in which Temple head coach John Chaney went off on Cal in epic fashion.

Take a look and listen in the attached video.
