Crews are expected to search a home for a possible victim in a fire that broke out Tuesday night.
The chief of the Danville Fire Department said they were called to the fire at the home on Venetian Way at 12:46 a.m. and were told there could be a woman trapped inside.
When they arrived, he said flames were shooting 30 to 40 feet in the air.
They got the fire knocked down.
The state fire marshal and an arson investigator were called to the scene.
A cadaver dog and arson dog have also been requested to assist with the investigation.
