Bullying Victim Speaks to Mercer County Leaders

Fifteen year-old Faith Logan spoke at a symposium in Mercer County about the issues with bullying.
A year ago Faith Logan was a victim of bullying at her school in Casey County.

She says the bullying was so bad that at one point she found herself in a physical confrontation.

Now a freshman in high school, Logan has been taking karate to make sure situations like that never happen again.

On Monday Logan told her experience to leaders of Mercer County and local school administrators as part of the county's effort to raise awareness about the severity of bullying.

The main message of the night was that there needs to be better communication between kids and their parents or school staffs.

     That's something Logan believes wholeheartedly.
