Monday is Brookelyn Farthing's Birthday.  The missing teen was last seen about two-months ago in Berea.

State Police say they have no new information about her whereabouts.

"Brookelyn was born at 9:20 this morning," said Randal Walker, Brookelyn's Step-Dad.

Brookelyn is 19.

"I put everything in present tense, because I still hold out hope that Brooke will be back," said Walker.

He raised Brookelyn since she was 4-years-old, and Walker says she was supposed to get a car for her 19th Birthday.

"Right now I'd spend everything I had just to have her here," said Walker.

State Police started a missing persons investigation at a Berea home.  KSP says she was last seen at the house on June, 22nd at 6 AM.

State Police say the homeowner called in a fire an hour later.  The home doesn't look damaged, except for a burned up couch.

Two months later the couch is still on the front yard.  There's a vacant building notice on the front door, and the yard has not been mowed.

There is a window smashed in, and inside you can see a hole in the floor in the shape of the piece of furniture.  Investigators ruled the fire suspicious, and still don't know the cause.

"Still continuing the fire investigation to see what actually transpired, and how that played a role, or if that played a role in the disappearance of Brookelyn Farthing," said Trooper Robert Purdy, KSP.

State Police say they collected any evidence they needed after the fire.

"The State Police has told me they have a suspect.  They will not tell me what has happened, for investigative purposes of course," said Walker.

KSP would not confirm, or deny this.

"We're still conducting a missing persons case," said Trooper Purdy.

Walker says they don't know if Farthing is alive, but they hope: For answers and closure.

"I've had loved ones pass away, and that's hard.  I've had loved ones pass away quickly without warning, and that's hard, but this?  Not knowing is the hardest thing I've ever been through in my life," said Walker.

He says somebody knows what happened to his step-daughter, and he wants that person to call.

"859-625-8848.  This is my personal cell number, and I don't care if it's 2 O'clock in the morning. You call it, I will answer it," said Walker.

Walker says they will soon announce a reward fund, and billboards with Brookelyn's picture are also coming soon.  Walker says the family is considering hiring a private investigator.
