Breathitt County School Superintendent Arch Turner has been jailed for violating the terms of his bond in a vote-buying case.

A federal judge revoked Turner's bond at a hearing on Tuesday.

The terms of Turner's release forbid him from having contact with defendants or prosecution witnesses in his case, unless it came through his lawyers.

Turner is accused of violating those terms.

Turner is accused of conspiring to buy votes in the May 2010 primary, lying to an FBI agent and trying to get witnesses to lie or not talk to investigators on the case.
