After the traffic and parking issues faced in 2011, $11 million was spent to improve the Kentucky Speedway infrastructure to ensure fans saw the start of the 2012 Quaker State 400.

And with no major problems reported before the Saturday night's race, fans were treated to a hot night in Sparta.

Brad Keselowski took the checkered flag after crashing his car in practice, facing 115 degree temperatures at the green flag start and fending off other drivers while using every last drop of fuel.

Check out the video to hear from the winner after the race!
