Boy Walks Two Miles To Get Help For Grandmother

A 5-year-old Berksville boy is being hailed as a hero after he went to get help for his grandmother after she fell off a cliff.
A 5-year-old Berksville boy is being hailed as a hero after walking two miles to get his grandmother help.

According to Berksville Police, Eli Craig, was walking with his grandmother, Cindy Martrino, along the Cumberland River Monday afternoon when she bent down to pick up her dog and fell 60 to 70 feet off a cliff.

Police say Eli then walked two miles home in order to get her help. Police say when no one was at Eli's house he went to two of his neighbors.

Martino was rescued by boat. She is currently at U.K. Hospital.
