Bourbon n’ Toulouse on Euclid Avenue is hosting their 9th annual Fat Tuesday party starting at 11:00 a.m.

Co-owners Kevin Heathcoat and Will Pieratt said they will do well over three week’s worth of business in just one day.

“The only thing that gets us through the day is adrenalin and bourbon,” said Heathcoat.

700 pounds of live crawfish will arrive from Louisiana Tuesday afternoon for a crawfish boil that will start around 6:30 p.m.

A special batch of Alligator Etouffee will be made and the restaurant will team up with the Chevy Chase Inn and The Beer Trappe to give UK fans plenty of options and room to watch the Wildcats take on Florida.

All three businesses will have drink specials throughout the day and the Chevy Chase Inn will also host two blues bands starting at 6:00 p.m.

Following Tuesday’s events, Bourbon n’ Toulouse will be closed until Saturday so employees have time to clean up and recuperate.
