Meagan and Savannah Whitaker are twins graduating from Bourbon County High School and in the Fall will enroll at the United States Air Force Academy.

The girls went through a year-long application process that includes a nomination from a member of Congress.

The appointment means they will receive a full ride scholarship, worth forty-thousand dollars a year.

Both girls earned straight-A's through their high school careers and received numerous other awards from the school.

Meagan and Savannah plan to major in engineering at the Academy.
