A judge lowered the bond Tuesday for a Lexington man accused of killing his daughter.

William McKenzie faces a second-degree manslaughter charge.

Police say his daughter, two-month-old Ava Grace Mckenzie, died last weekend.

Police reports say she was found unresponsive Saturday on Huntsville Drive, then died at UK Hospital.

The coroner says she suffocated.

Police say McKenzie had wrapped a blanket around her face.

But police believe the death was an accident, not intentional.

McKenzie's bond was lowered from $7,000 to $2,500.
