A boil water advisory was issued on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 5:00 p.m., for some Danville Water Works customers in Perryville.

Officials said customers on South Buell Street from 5th Street to the end of the line should boil their water to be used for drinking or cooking for at least three minutes until further notice.

The advisory was issued because valves were being replaced on two fire hydrants.
