Boil Water Advisory For Parts Of Lincoln County

The McKinney Water District in Lincoln County issued a boil water advisory at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2014.

The advisory was issued for customers in the following areas:
  • Highway 198
  • Highway 518
  • Highway 1778
  • Highway 698 (from Green River Pentecostal Church to the New Salem area)
  • Norris Road
  • Highway 127
The advisory was also for all customers who live off the above mentioned roads.

The advisory was the result of water tank cleaning and maintenance in McKinney.

All affected customers should boil water to be used for cooking and drinking for at least three minutes until further notice.
