Boil Water Advisory Extended For Parts Of Owsley County

A boil water advisory in Owsley County that was issued on October 10th, was extended on October 15th for some customers after an additional leak was discovered, according to the Booneville city officials.

A boil water advisory remained in effect for customers from Highway 11 North Levi to the Lee County line.

This included the following areas:
  • Hill Top Road
  • Jack Gap
  • Fox Hunters Knob
  • Pebworth Area
Customers in the affected areas should boil all water to be used for drinking and cooking for at least three minutes until further notice.
